This rumored Google/Verizon deal is important to the future of net neutrality. I think this article does a nice job of explaining the situation - although I think the bit about Verizon “teaching” Google about how to maintain a monopoly is a bit heavy-handed. I do agree with the idea that this deal probably has a lot more to do with net neutrality on the mobile web than on your computer, but is still a very dangerous precedent. I’m usually a Google Kool-Aid drinker, but this seems to have the potential to be a very evil step.

BoingBoing just blew my mind by showing that Inception was totally ripped off of a Scrooge McDuck comic. The entire comic is available here, and by golly, it has some crazy similarities to Inception, right down to the kick!

This is a nice little examination of the weirdness that is Nic Cage. I think she makes some good points in the article, like comparing Cage to Vincent Price.
